We travelled many km across a vast ocean. Experienced great days of fun and relaxation
with family & friends in the Chicago area. But our short mini-break to Galena was the most

What a wonderful, wonderful oasis you have in your Harvest Home! We had the very best
time staying in your comfortable retreat. Your kitchen is so well equipped and your
mattresses seem like they are brand new! We had hours of fun playing domino's while the
fire blazed in the fireplace. Leaving your home we explored quite a bit in the short time we
were in the Territory. Highlights included shopping and eating two fabulous dinners in
Galena; spotting a dozen eagles at Eagle Point Park in Dubuque; and, at Massbach Ridge
Winery we had our own private little wine tasting and tour. We didn't miss Mardi Gras one bit!

Thank you Haras family for sharing your home with us. We had the best time here. The
house is beautiful, the surroundings peaceful and of course Galena charming. The kids
hoepfully got their fill of candy from the Kandy Kitchen! This is a beautiful part of Illinois.

It had been several years since we had been to Galena - never realized how much we
missed it! We discovered Thunder Bay Falls - how beautiful! Your home helped make our
trip that much more relaxing & enjoyable. The screened-in porch & unique decor will
